Hotel Riu Palace Costa Mujeres

I have been here twice. Really amazing resort to go with a group. Miguel from the lobby bar makes the best cocktails, he made our trip memorable! All of the buffet wait staff were always very attentive. Rooms were modern, and cleaned well daily. They also had an included turn down service - we were so impressed with this! Fun daily activties by the pool and beach, Emmanual and everyone else kept us entertained. This resort has a party-centric, yet relaxing and a family friendly vibe. Beach is 10/10 my favourite in all of Mexico Food is good, I would say the buffet much better than the al-a-cartes. However Krystal and Steakhouse were both excellent and are worth checking out. I would return here again for a third time. Good value resort

Delta vacation pkg. Drive from airport 45-50 minutes. Pristine grounds, seamless check in. Room #1108 beautiful and clean. HVAC was solid but still a wee bit humid at night. It is a quiet area but excursions to Isla or parties are available. Pools are separate for adults only, kids activities are plenty, as are gym and activities. Pool activities are good and plenty of beach to sit or play Food at restaurants is equally good, fusion, Japanese and steakhouse, with no issue getting in around 6-630. Buffet has theme nights and food was always plentiful, delicious and served with a smile. Servers in all areas are efficient, friendly and work tirelessly at their assigned job. Never felt pressured or unsafe throughout the week.

We were extremely impressed with this resort. I have been to 2 other resorts and by far this one is our favorite. Food is great. Staff is so amazing (especially the announcer Johnny and the bartender Erich!!) and there is lots to do at all times. The resort is kept extremely clean. I highly highly recommend this resort. The only thing that I didn't love was the beds were a little bit small in the rooms. Our specific room had 2 smaller full size beds. I would have preferred at least a queen sized bed but I'm sure there's other rooms with that. Over all though 10/10 experience. I think the biggest thing that made this resort incredible was the staff. I mean they were ALL so great. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and entertaining. Thank you for making my vacation amazing.

Stayed for 3 nights. The location is a bit of a drive from the city center, but it has a free shuttle and is nice and secluded. The room was beautiful, and housekeeping was perfect. You do hear a bit of noise in the hall or when your neighbors close their door. Never had an issue finding chairs at the beach or at the pools. The food is okay. You won’t go hungry, but nothing blew me away. The buffet is your average buffet. The earlier you go, the fresher it is. Went to the steakhouse and wasn’t impressed. The Italian was way better. Drinks were good, not much to mention there. The real place this property shines is in service. Everyone was friendly and very helpful, a pleasure to chat with. Special thanks to Juan at reception, Frank at the Pool Bar, Enrique serving on the beach and Luiscito at the Buffett he served us every breakfast and lunch during our stay and was phenomenal. Overall it’s a pretty good all inclusive and the value for the money is exceptional

This was our first time staying at a Rui Hotel. We were very pleased with everything that this hotel has to offer. It was my husband’s Birthday and we were so surprised to come back to our room and find a Birthday cake made out of towels,balloons, candy. A card and 2 pieces of delicious cake for him. He thought I had told them but I hadn’t. They did it all on their own. Thank you for everything! We will be back!

Beautiful resort that is constantly being cleaned! The rooms are great & have plenty of room. The buffet has a great variety of food, but it is typical buffet food & needs to be seasoned. They need to disclose that one of the "Adults Only" pools is reserved for Elite members only. We were kicked out after we ordered drinks, when there were only 3 people in the pool & 2 people sitting out in chairs, while the other pools were packed! The beach was wonderful and they did a great job keeping the seaweed raked off.

Just spent 4 nights with my kids out there. Transfer was spot on both ways. Hotel infrastructure very good. Restaurants, had to be at the door 30 min before opening on both most populars Japanese and steak house, the second was definitely worth it, first one was just okay. The water park is one of the reasons I booked this hotel and it paid off, no big crowds and lots of fun. Beach is awesome but few seaweeds and it was very windy for two days so the ocean was mad. Food quality is great at the buffet. I have no complain other than they booked a weeding one night and there was not show at the hotel, so they sent us to the neighboring Riu hotel (5 min walk).

Beautiful resort with exceptional cleanliness. Grounds are very manicured and lovely. Rooms are very nice, stocked fridge and mini bar. Beach is beautiful and perfect for very long walks. Pools are plenty so not crowded. Never harassed on beach by vendors. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Pepe’s food by the pool is awesome and went out of their way to find us a veggie burger!
